OUR STORY
HOW IT ALL BEGAN

Founded by Canadians Greg Potten and Andrew Hashey. Greg is a business man with an eye for opportunity while Andrew founded Canadian Craft beer pioneer Picaroons Brewing Co. 25 years ago. While searching far and wide in the Caribbean for a fine craft beer they soon came to compare notes and realized that the market was incredibly lacking in alternatives to mass produced lagers. Finding a small decommissioned brewery on the island of Saint Lucia was all they needed to be convinced that the risk was worth the reward, that the West Indies needed a proper craft brewer.

Paired with the previously untapped brewing skillset and agricultural knowledge of their St. Lucian Head Brewer Sid, Antillia Brewing has grown into a staple of hotels, bars, and restaurants across the island as well as a strong export business employing many St Lucians in the new and exciting industry of craft brewing.

The brewery uses a traditional single infusion mash brew house using only the best malts and hops to brew our beers. This is combined with open fermentation using our proprietary top fermenting ale yeast which adds unique character to our beers. Post fermentation the beer is transferred to conditioning tanks in the cold room where the beer sits whilst yeast drops out of suspension leaving bright finished product which is then carbonated ready for serving.
The finely crafted ales are distributed to resorts, hotels, restaurants, bars, boats and supermarkets across the island. Visit the brewery in Odsan for a tour and join us at our Petit Antillia Beer Garden at Point Seraphine Duty Free Cruise Terminal for a tasting or a pint.
